GO GREEN!

I went to the Post Office today. It's been awhile since I had to mail off a package to Iraq. I was expecting to pay around $45 for the box I sent and it only came to $10.70 (since I mailed it in a Flat Rate Box). Flat Rate Boxes are my new bestfriend!
My Aunt says she and a bunch of ladies from her church mail off care packages to the soldiers very often and even take requests. I thought it was nice of them. Some soldiers over there have no one sending them anything and care packages really do make a difference. It lets them know they are appreciated and thought of. So, if I had to.....I would have paid the $45 to get my package out to my husband.
Speaking of "care packages"....I made that the subject of my latest LO for Candy Shoppe Designs.
CARE PACKAGES TO IRAQ

The challenge over at Candy Shoppe Designs is GO GREEN! You are prompted to use regular everyday stuff from around the house on your creation. Everything from cardboard, duct tape, dryer sheets, you name it! The challenge is due by 3/14/10.

Our March sponsor is WILD OLIVE KIDS.

Head on over to C.S.D. to see the Blog Candy. The Blog Candy will only get bigger with the more players we have. So, go tell all your friends!

On my LO I recycled a page from a phone book, a leftover can of spray paint, dress patterns, a used usps box and a soda can tab. I scraplifted a LO by an artist named Kaori.

Visit Candy Shoppe Designs now for all the details on this challenge!!!
