Afternoon Delight

The second I saw the sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

Don't you just love when inspiration hits you like that? It makes the creation process go by so much quicker and easier and I love it when that happens because well, if you know me, then you know I have a gazillion things going on all of the time.....anything to make things a little easier helps out a lot.

So, here's the sketch that got my attention.....

And here's my take on it.....

AFTERNOON DELIGHT The photos are of my youngest daughter and husband last year at my nephews pool party. My daughter was sucking on a lollipop and so I thought these pictures would be perfect to use along with my lollipop flowers.
delight - 1. to give great pleasure 2. to rejoice, or be highly pleased

Here are the lollipop flowers I made using Basic Grey's Lollipop Shoppe patterned papers in the mix.
I knew that I wanted to use Hambly overlays when I seen the sketch.....they always have such bright and cheerful colors to choose from and here I chose to use Old Lace and Vintage Plaid.
