This is my daughter Deja. She amazes me with her creativeness and cleverness....she makes everyone laugh and doesn't even need to try, it's just all in her spunky personality. Everyone who knows her, loves her!She sings while she works (chores), while she plays and while she showers. She makes up hilarious stories during long car rides....and sometimes for school work. I remember one day reading a paper she wrote in school about her home life and apparently she has 7 sisters and 9 brothers....not including the mere 5 animals she claimed we had.
p.s. She has 1 younger sister, 2 younger brothers and no pets.
She's got a wild imagination! She dreams of someday becoming a book writer and I know that when she does, I'll be her biggest fan. I find a lot of her stories laying around and hold on to them for safe-keeping. They make me crack up laughing SO hard! She's a natural comedian.
When the Army moved us this last time and we were clearing quarters I went into each room and made sure that we weren't leaving anything behind. Inside of the medicine cabinet in the bathroom I found a cute note that she left for the next family who ends up moving into the house. I couldn't help but stick it in my pocket to scrapbook and look back on. I thought that was so cute of her.
I can go on and on about this girl but all in all, she dazzles me....she really does!
I created this layout for a couple of challenges....
Play along to this color palette challenge -due June 7- for a chance to win this "Good Times" kit from our June sponsor Color Me Miki.

Color Me Miki has eclectic offerings and everything in the mart is 25-40% off ALL THE TIME!!! Go on over and check out their past kits for sale, ephemera, homemade goodies and unique items. It may be trendy, funky, shabby chic, or vintage, anything goes and they are definately worth the looksie!
This is a NEW discovery of mine....you know me....always looking out for some new fab places to get my hands dirty. Their current challenge was SO easy that it shouldn't even be considered a "challenge." All you have to do for this challenge is include the word "YOU" in your creation. I was SO excited because the layout I created for the C.S.D. challenge already included the word "YOU" and so I was set. Count me in! ;-)
You can find the products I used on this layout at one of my favorite online scrap stores BlueMoonScrapbooking. Check them out! You won't regret it!

This LO is stunning! Your daughter sounds like a funny girl! That was SO sweet of her to leave a note for the new family, she has such a big heart! I am pretty sure that all we are leaving for the next family is a big kool-aid stain on the living room carpet ;) lol
